2025 - Paris - Analog photographs - Experimental analog photographs with mycelium

Suspended between the living and the inert, ‘Mort Vivant’ is a series of experimental analogue photographs. Partly created in collaboration with a living organism, mycelium, the series reflects the artist’s inner landscapes during a period of depression. Through this encounter between the photographic process and the organic process, the project explores the interdependence between destruction and creation. How can decomposition become a space for transformation? How does the observation of nature, both subject and medium, teach us more about our own psychological and internal dynamics?

‘Mort Vivant’ presents liminal spaces where movement emerges from stillness, where death becomes a condition of life, and where time creates a space for mourning and metamorphosis.
